Sound identity for CPH:DOX 2025. The festival’s theme, Right Here, Right Now, dug into human, civil and state rights in a world in upheaval – a reality richer than the headlines. The sound follows that idea: close, present and unpolished, built from real-world textures rather than a glossy trailer mix.

I’m Søren Valur — a Danish-Icelandic sound designer and composer. I build sound from the room tone up: for film, commercials and podcasts, from the first field recording to the final mix. Selected clients include Form Portfolios, Nanimarquina, Cassina, CPH:DOX, TV 2, Podimo, Zetland and DR.
